#2583 [RFE] Homedir is always overwritten with subdomain_homedir value in server mode
Closed: Fixed Opened by jhrozek.

Prior to sssd 1.12, we didn't have the ability to read home directory values from AD in AD-IPA trust setups at all. Instead, we always used the subdomain_homedir value. We can read custom LDAP values now, but in order to stay backwards-compatible, we kept using the subdomain_homedir value.

We should either add a special value to subdomain_homedir that would make SSSD return the AD value or add a new option that would cause subdomain_homedir to be ignored. Either way, this would be an opt-in action.
