Imagine you are looking for something specific in one of the guides published under docs.fpo but you don't remember exactly where it is.
One solution is to use a search engine and add something like site: docs.fedoraproject.org. Since not every end-user is aware of such functionality, may I suggest to add a search field to docs.fpo?
site: docs.fedoraproject.org
@augenauf we are hoping to bring up a proper search engine. Is this something you can help with? We have been avoiding linking to tools which provided ads in their search results.
Dear Brian, If I could, I would.
Unfortunately, I am not a trained IT guy, just a simple end-user appreciating the beauty and simplicity of Fedora. I try to contribute wherever I can and it looks like translation and documentation are possible with my skill set but not much beyond that.
Good luck and many thanks! Florian
I understand and look forward to your contributions in docs and translation.
Docs provides a search function now...
