While attempting to install a CA after specifying 'pki_skip_configuration=True', it was discovered that the corresponding Configuration URL provided to the PKI installation administrator simply yielded a blank page.
It is believed that this is due to the fact that the configuration panels were relocated to another area.
A manual workaround has been provided below, and while one solution would be for 'pkispawn' to automatically create a symbolic link per the workaround whenever 'pki_skip_configuration=True', we may simply want to try to correct the path provided by the configuration URL instead.
EXAMPLE:
The following configuration URL yielded a blank page:
https://foo.example.com:8443/ca/admin/console/config/login?pin=r8Mjnq9HbCfxZOQaqKh0
WORKAROUND:
To workaround this issue, perform the following actions as the 'root' user:
# cd /var/lib/pki/pki-tomcat/webapps/ca/admin # ln -s ../../pki/admin/console/ console
and reload the browser -- the welcome panel should be displayed.
this should also be checked on 10.1
It appears that kra also has same issue. KRA is actually missing the admin directory altogether under webapp/kra. Here is the workaround:
# cd /var/lib/pki/<pki instance name>/webapps/kra # mkdir admin # chown pkiuser:pkiuser admin # chmod 770 admin # cd admin # ln -s ../../pki/admin/console/ console
It is possible that tks and ocsp have the same issue as well.
This problem has been fixed on master:
Dogtag 10.1 is not affected.
