there isn't really a lot in the logs for this one. just command failed, see logs, but the logs don't have anything in them that indicate what the error is other than that the return code was bad

There is "Failed to register machine: File exists" so somehow might it be a systemd-nspawn issue?

i've seen that error occasionally before.. i guess it could be fatal, but I tend to see it even in non-errored runs, so not sure.
