I am trying to install a few packages on a centOS 7 server using the EPEL repo. But for some reason the repo only has the packages I am interested in for arm. Same packages are not available for AMD64.
Is it normal for packages to only be available for one architecture ?
The packages I am trying to track down are - mingw32-gcc, mingw32-gcc-c++, mingw32-winpthreads-static and mingw32-nsis.
mingw32-gcc
mingw32-gcc-c++
mingw32-winpthreads-static
mingw32-nsis
This search tool also only lists the packages for aarch64 and not x86_64. So this looks like it is by design. Any further insight into why the packages aren't available for both architectures ? If it is just a question of someone contributing and maintaining the binaries I might be able to help with that.
Reached out on irc about this. The packages were removed due to this issue - https://pagure.io/fesco/issue/2333
The arm builds are stale and unsupported.
