Currently pagure in epel is still at the 2.x version, it was never updated to the 3.x release that was not backward compatible.

Today, we're about to release 5.0 and we would like to ask the permission to update pagure to this lastest release in epel.

The release in EPEL has also a number of security bugs that have been fixed since.

Per the approval given in the EPEL meeting minutes, I have pushed pagure 5.0.1 as an update: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-EPEL-2018-c887b5aaa9

Email has been sent to the EPEL mailing lists, and awaits moderator approval for epel-announce@lists.fp.o.
