Hi @langdon here's my design for the badge with the Seville cathedral.

@terezahl great work! I do think this badge could use a bit more contrast - consider making the darkest orange even darker. Let's see how that looks :) The outline could be much thicker, too - consult the badges design guidelines for some inspiration. Thank you so much for working on this!

@mleonova , @langdon here's the fixed badge. I added some outlines to the palm trees as well, because they seemed bit lost on the background. Let me know what you think!

@terezahl very cool artwork! This is a great start. Some of the elements are still blending together. There are a few things you could try to help make it pop :)

  • Make the ground area brown or green depending on what makes sense with the location
  • Take out one or two of the trees on both sides and make them larger
  • Increase the stroke on the trees and add a stroke on the trunks of the trees
  • Change the sky color to more of a sky blue, and give the sunburst brighter. Use this badge for reference -> https://badges.fedoraproject.org/badge/it-still-works%21
  • Try adding in a dark stroke to the building similar to this badge https://badges.fedoraproject.org/badge/apprentice-badge-artist-i
