Shouldn't dist-git be git/dist-git (as above, here and below)?

I meant to distinguish between a git/dist-git interaction vs a pure dist-git one (local git isn't involved in opening a PR on pagure via its API).

Does that make sense?

Of course it does, when you put it that way :wink:. Should we put that info into the README?
