I wanted to look at the docs for bridging IRC and Matrix channels, but it appears there are none. It would be helpful to have that information readily available to the community.

Since this was opened, two things have happened:

  1. In August 2023, the LiberaChat and Matrix bridges were disabled temporarily due to security issues. This temporary disabling does not have a target date for getting enabled again.
  2. There is an ongoing policy proposal the Fedora Council about making Matrix official and retiring IRC as an official communications platform for the Fedora community.

Given this context and that this request was opened in May 2021, I am going to close this issue as stale.
