The Fedora Server Working Group has begun rebuilding the documentation for the Server Edition. The current content is available at
https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/fedora-server/
A link to this address should get added to the docs landing page along with the other editions.
As text / description we suggest:
Fedora Server Empowers you to deploy the services you need, under your own control, and adapted to your own needs
Some of the next steps planned can be seen at https://docs.stg.fedoraproject.org/en-US/fedora-server/
Thanks
@pboy Hi, I just want to clarify - is this supposed to replace the current System Administrator's Guide, or do you want to publish it as a separate doc and keep the current Sysadmin Guide published as it is now?
@pbokoc Hi, we wish to publish it as an additional separate guide like IoT, Silverblue, and CoreOS (and maybe in a row with those) and leave everything else untouched.
We are open to move some parts to the general system administration & installation guide, if it makes sense later on. However, in my opinion, this would require both of them to be revised in their structure (to reflect the differentiation of Fedora into several editions).
Hi, without wanting to be pushy, is there any new status regarding the release of the server documentation? Is there anything we can do as a server WG to support the work?
@bcotton Can you help on this ?
It's up now. Apologies for the delay.
