On the vmhost-x86-copr04.rdu-cc.fedoraproject.org: 

$ host github.com
github.com has address 140.82.113.3
github.com mail is handled by 1 aspmx.l.google.com.
github.com mail is handled by 5 alt1.aspmx.l.google.com.
github.com mail is handled by 5 alt2.aspmx.l.google.com.
github.com mail is handled by 10 alt3.aspmx.l.google.com.
github.com mail is handled by 10 alt4.aspmx.l.google.com.

That IP 140.82.113.3 can't be pinged, and any attempt to clone
from it fails as well.

Locally on my box, there's a different IPv4 returned from DNS. But also
the IP 140.82.113.3 works (I'm in Brno).

There is a network outage going on in the community cage where the COPR and other services are located. @misc reported it to the providers around 0900 UTC, but I do not have any other information about it.

ACK, so I updated https://status.fedoraproject.org/

This seems to be fixed now, closing the ticket.
