I see weird problems when trying to build qemu in a side tag:

$ git clone -n https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/qemu.git /var/lib/mock/f42-build-side-102002-55589343-6536798/root/chroot_tmpdir/scmroot/qemu

fatal: the remote end hung up unexpectedly

After waiting a while it seems to have fixed itself:

I think this might be / related to #12335
