As per @adrian request from https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/epel-release/pull-request/4#comment-35197 I am opening this ticket.

Please add the modular repositories for epel in MirrorManager.

When do you need this to be done by? (YYYY/MM/DD)

Which repositories need to be created in MirrorManager? Looking at other repositories it is difficult to be consistent in the naming. Sometimes modular is a prefix, sometimes it is in the middle. What about this?

  • epel-modular-8
  • epel-modular-debug-8
  • epel-modular-source-8
  • epel-testing-modular-8
  • epel-testing-modular-debug-8
  • epel-testing-modular-source-8

Do we also need it for playground?

This is looking good. But for testing repos, epel generally has testing-epel*.

Do we also need it for playground?

Yes we do, but currently the work is still going on. Either we can wait for the work to complete or you can add them now itself.

As already mentioned the repository naming is very confusing. I had a closer look and the following repositories have now been created in MirrorManager:

  • epel-modular-8
  • epel-modular-debug-8
  • epel-modular-source-8
  • testing-modular-debug-epel8
  • testing-modular-epel8
  • testing-modular-source-epel8

These names seemed to match existing repository names the best. This should be live in about two hours.
