#9259 FAS ID reset for returning community member
Closed: Will Not/Can Not fix by kevin. Opened by pascalvcalarco.

Describe what you would like us to do:

Hello. Years ago I was active with the Fedora Project. I would now like to resume work with Fedora. My FAS account is pcalarco. I established a new FAS login so I could log this ticket, pascalvcalarco.

I no longer have access to my former email, pvcalarco@uwaterloo.ca. My new email is pcalarco@uwindsor.ca

Could I please get some help updating my email address on my pcalarco FAS account so I can reset my pcalarco FAS password, please and thank you.

Pascal Calarco

When do you need this to be done by? (YYYY/MM/DD)

We need to confirm you are the same person as the person who owned the old account. We can do this various ways:

  1. Do you recall your security answer? If so, I can send you an email with the question.

  2. Do you still have access to the gpg key associated with the account? ( C7E2DF87 )

  3. Do you still have access to the ssh key associated with the account ? ( ssh-rsa AAAAB3NzaC1yc2EAAAADAQABAAABAQC8gVdmcVm/EhkNk+RM9Qb+H8OCHqW1QVxM95MVuI0u50CqhfJ6gSBDnuZGaElZciwj2AOb0TnFboOqX5+LbmH/XWsFvRp6giDuH7AgKxmgw9pr7acYnczS/VcnHWnPKrpp92ozb7FcEcH1VPzjy1UZHeJQD/VV0lAnf8KDT6DzGt3vYYAoR59/6GTA4M77sOS19WrMR2pUQPihm7B//QPx08FI6Emsp7qV7Co+3ixi3sjzmDMjHPpTqGtLRX4WjFmBG9KTZ8Rc91PDJFgnEECSejA+qGs1yKLbLRk4iULS16DOtLA8GvnHK+qDO0aElM7B+JrRGWo/VqUVr339IGnF pascal@localhost.localdomain )

Hi Kevin,

Thanks very much! I know that I do not have my gpg key or the ssh key any more, so perhaps we could try the security question.

Best,

  • pascal

Alas, I just checked and it looks like you didn't set a security question/answer ;(

If you can find any of those things, or can get them to forward the email change email from your old address let us know... otherwise I am afraid we can't help you. :(
