Appstream from git main now requires libxmlb-0.3.14 or later to compile. This version of AppStream will be required for Plasma 6.

Would be nice to upgrade libxmlb now, so that people who have to compile AppStream themselves can continue to do so.

(Alternatively, upgrade to both libxmlb-0.3.14) and Appstream-1.0, and then people wouldn't have to compile their own AppStream anymore to build Plasma 6. :) )

@rhughes, would you be willing to backport it to stable releases?

It's already in F38 [https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2023-dfc749c5f5] and pending for F39: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2023-e5ef62d633 -- no?

The last time I checked we were at version 0.3.13, and the error I was seeing in AppStream didn't go away, so I had assumed it was still at that version.

It looks like my issue with AppStream is caused by something else, perhaps https://invent.kde.org/sdk/kdesrc-build/-/issues/.
