chkrootkit is a pretty neat package to check for the systems security.
I think it would fit very well in the Kinoite base image.
It is included in the (poorly very opinionated) hardened Images based on ublue.
Though I am not sure how effective it is, if it is needed, if preinstalling would have any real negative effects etc. It is an official Fedora package which is a plus.
This tool is by design imperfect and most users would not know what to do with it (nor know how to use it as it is a command line tool only).
So -1 from me.

I would say it doesnt need to fit every users needs, but having it available sounds good.
That applies to most packages in the Fedora repo. Adding all these extra packages serves no real value to the base OS image.

it probably also gives a false positive on BTRFS / ostree / whatever filesystems which would spam your channels.
