Bodhi's web UI has a 're-trigger tests' button that causes a message to be published which we could listen for and re-trigger tests in response. I haven't done this so far because the message was buggy, but my fix for that just landed, so once a new Bodhi release is cut and deployed, we should be able to do this, which would be a big help for packagers.

Fixed by https://pagure.io/fedora-qa/fedora_openqa/pull-request/94 (just merged and deployed). I tested it on lab and it seems to work.
