Hi all,

I would like to join the Fedora project actively, and I believe testing packages could be my first step on the project. I do have experience with Linux for many years now, as a professional as well as a hobbyist. I can also do some scripting with python and bash and always had interest in opensource, testing, GPL , HA clustering etc.

Hi Raúl I'll be happy to sponsor you into the proventesters group once you have completed a few requirements. Please take a moment to read through the proventester instructions at:

http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Proven_tester

Once you have read through the instruction, can you please confirm that you ...:

have read and understand the instructions, and will follow the instructions when testing Fedora critical path updates.

understand how to enable the update-testing repository

are familiar with providing test feedback using either the Bodhi web interface, or the fedora-easy-karma utility

Once you confirm these three from the list above, then I will be happy to sponsor your membership in the proventester group, after you apply for membership of that group in FAS.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Your updates to the original information indicate that you have done some of these things, but please confirm that you are familiar with providing test feedback via Bodhi and fedora-easy-karma. Once you do that I will be happy to sponsor you.

OK Raúl if you apply for proventester membership in FAS I will now sponsor you. At this moment in time I did not see any request in FAS under your username "sanchez"? When I see the request from this username in FAS I will sponsor you.

Just checked - but it is still not there - I suggest you login to FAS and check it again and re-apply if necessary.

Note, I was cleaning out out 'qa' group applications and noticed you subscribed to 'qa'. Perhaps that was by mistake. Please note, the correct group is 'proventesters'
