#448 Proposed Test Day - Virtualization
Closed: Fixed Opened by crobinso.

I'd like to propose a test day for Virtualization.

Preferred date would be mid to late August.

We will be doing general virt testing, like the standard test cases we carry over for each test day:

http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Test_Day:2013-10-08_Virtualization

And likely some specific test cases for our f21 feature:

https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/Virt_64bit_ARM_on_x86

I created an event on [https://apps.fedoraproject.org/calendar/meeting/443/?from_date=2014-08-13 fedocal]. Still need to update the wiki page and confirm that date (it can be moved, just wanted to get it up).

Thanks. Two bits:

  • Could it be rescheduled to the 20th? I realize now that the 13th is soon after flock, I could use a bit more time to decompress before having to run the test day :)

  • The event description has a copy/paste error mentioning the gnome desktop

No problem, I've rescheduled it to the 20th.

And let's just pretend I left the gnome thing in there to make sure you were paying attention and keep you on your toes :p

Given the F21 delay, I'd like to reschedule the virt test day as well. Can we push it out 3 weeks to Wednesday September 10th?

I think that should work no problem. I've updated it in Fedocal.

Thanks, I moved the test page as well:

Hi, would you mind if we moved Virtualization test day by one day to September 11th. There are scheduled two test days in a row, it would be better if there was a one day between them.

I can move it if @crobinso is good with that (since he reported it).

Yes I'm fine with the move, thanks

Moved to 2014-09-11.

Given the ongoing alpha delay, and the fact that I'm kinda behind on preparation (only updated to F21 yesterday), I'd like to push the virt test day back a couple weeks to Thursday September 25. That looks like an unclaimed date, and is 2 days away from the nearest test day (translation on 23rd). Some help?

Moved the testday in fedocal and also moved the wiki page as well.

This went ahead successfully:

closing.
