It seems only bugs that link to RH bugzilla are detected. That no longer fits our use case to prefer filing to upstream. E.g. in https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Test_Day:2025-10-06_GNOME_49_Desktop_and_Core_Apps I reported 7 bugs to GNOME Gitlab, none of which are counted [1].
We should create a list of the most common tracker patterns and use that for detecting bugs.
[1] I reported them through the comment field and not the bug field in the testdays-web app, because it doesn't currently support gnome gitlab, but that shouldn't really matter, it looks (almost) the same in the wiki export anyway
Yeah, this has been a known limitation for a long time, but I never had time to improve it. The RHBZ parsing comes almost 'for free' because we have to parse the result templates anyway; counting reports to other trackers requires somewhat more new code.
I haven't looked at the code in so long I'm not 100% sure, but I think this will wind up being a python-wikitcms issue rather than a testdays one.
Yes, quickly looking into the code, it really seems to be handled in wikitcms. I'll keep this open, I think it makes more sense to have it open here (it would also require changes in testdays code).
This issue has been migrated to Fedora Forge: https://forge.fedoraproject.org/quality/testdays/issues/4
Please continue any further discussion there.
