#399 fudcon websites is badly designed

This websites use the Genshi framework to build without using the Genshi templates.
Once we decide what to do with this website (continue, recode, or drop) we will need to clean it.

  • Making use of data/templates (they are currently not used at all) and removing specific headers in data/content/*
  • probably share the templates with the other websites.

I set up a new fudcon-redesign branch to rewrite this site using bootstrap. We should keep the bootstrap.css clean to be re-used by the other websites, and only modify a custom.css.

I checked the dev area and it looks bootstrapped. Is this task done?

No, this task is still pending and it depends on the layout of the fedora.next pages. We will use bootstrap, right, and it should be easy to complete once we have the final design.

Let's keep this as a task for F22. Fudcon.fpo should be redesigned completely or (better) included in the main fpo webpage.

I think the best is to reject this task completely. Fedora Hubs are coming and FUDCon and FLOCK events normally have their own websites. Also, we are thinking about a unified software for FUDCon webpages.

Therefore I guess we will just keep http://fudcon.fedoraproject.org as it is now and maintain it until we switch to Hubs, then drop it definitely.
