while actual file (found manually) is here: https://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/alt/atomic/stable/Fedora-28-updates-20180923.0/AtomicHost/x86_64/images/Fedora-AtomicHost-28-20180923.0-x86_64-CHECKSUM

The difference is in bold:
dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/alt/atomic/stable/Fedora-Atomic-28-20180923.0/
instead of actual address:
dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/alt/atomic/stable/Fedora-28-updates-20180923.0/

Thanks, that fixed the issue for x86_64. Now I also noticed that 'Verify' buttons on qcow2, raw and iso images' pages for AArch64 and PPC64LE are leading to https://getfedora.org/pl/verify.html instead of cheksums.
