Optionally for the 2015-01-14 meeting as the Change Proposal was announced on devel-announce list on 2015-01-08 - only 6 days on the list.

To disable remote root login facility in sshd(8) by default.

From today’s Server meeting.

The server SIG feels that the ssh config proposal provides very minimal security improvement, and is not worth any reduction in usability; accepting this change would make sense only if all relevant UIs/tools were adapted to fully support system usage after this change. [Excluding the case that "changing anything is an unfixable reduction in usability"]

Change is not approved.

AGREED: "Set sshd(8) PermitRootLogin=no" as systemwide DOES NOT pass for F22 (+0/-5/2)
