Unable to contact him via email or phone. My company needs a fix for the EPEL7 package of BackupPC. I could do it, but I need a sponsor.

As per datagrepper bjohnson is not active since last one year.

+1 looks legit but I'd prefer you go through the usual process to get access.
Meanwhile, you can submit a patch through bugzilla, and ask a provenpackager to apply it.

AGREED: orphan all of bjohnson's packages. nirik will sponsor and mentor lef to take ownership of BackupPC (+1: 7, 0: 0, -1: 0)

Please follow-up with nirik for getting through the sponsor process, and I wish you well as a future Fedora packager.

I've touched base with lef and got him added to packager and setup with BackupPC and I have orphaned all the rest of bjohnson's packages (and mailed devel list about them).
