#2007 Fedora 29 RC1.2 composes misses Astronomy Spin on x86_64
Closed: Accepted Opened by lupinix.

Hi,

for some reason the build of the Astronomy spin(x86_64, the i686 one went fine) has been canceled: https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=30445005 In general, the spin built fine for the nightlies.

As I maintain that spin and want to get it shipped with Fedora 29, I request that we ship a nightly build instead, the latest one is https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=30473114

We already used that "solution" for Fedora 24, where some spins failed, we put them into https://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/alt/unofficial/releases/24/

Greetings,
Christian

If there are no technical and legal blockers, +1. It would be disappointing to not ship a spin because of some temporary glitch in the build process.

Edit: I initially wrote about xfce and lxqt here, but since it's being discussed in #2006, I'll move my comment there.

+1 to @zbyszek

agreed If they can't be ready by tomorrow, common Bugs the lack of Xfce, LXQT, and Astronomy Spins and send out a separate announcement when they're ready. (+5,0,-0)

FYI, the problem causing this to hang and needing to be canceled is the graphviz packages %post.

I fixed this in rawhide, but not in f29, and I guess the maintainer didn't fix it there either, so I am doing so now.
