We will install power-profiles-daemon in Fedora Workstation and enable it by default. power-profiles-daemon allows the user to choose between optimizing for system performance or battery life.

I'm missing some data if it actually makes a difference. I asked in the mailing list thread, but didn't get any reply…

But if the people from the Workstation group want this, I don't think we need to second-guess their decision.
