While we have a growing interest from folks in India to become package maintainers, there is very few people in this region who are sponsors and this presents a bottle neck after engaging potential contributors in f2f conversations and otherwise. I have been reviewing and approving packages from time to time (Not enough!) I would like FESCo to consider approving me a sponsor to help me mentor potential contributors. Thanks.
