Sérgio maintains a bunch of packages and is generally a very active packager. I think provenpackager bit will help with maintenance of ImageMagick and other packages.

Agree, and I will not hesitate to give +1... I still wonder why he needs provenpackager?

At least for ImageMagick: rebuilds of packages with many deps go much smoother if you can rebuild them as pp.

Sadly, nobody wants to make grunt work like soname rebuilds automatic, so here we are...
