Hello,
I would like to apply for a membership in the proven packager group. I am part of Python SIG and currently I am working on delivering Python 3.11 in Fedora 37 (https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/Python3.11). This will require mass rebuild of all Python packages in a side-tag. I would like to use the proven packager's rights to be able to bump release numbers of all affected packages.
In the past I've worked on various tasks that required mass pushing into rawhide branches. During those occasions I couldn't do it myself and I had to ask @churchyard for help. I've prepared the commits (or scripts) and he pushed (or run) them.
You can see mine other past activity in Fedora also here: packages: https://src.fedoraproject.org/user/thrnciar koji builds: https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/userinfo?buildStart=0&userID=1918&buildOrder=-completion_time&packageOrder=package_name&packageStart=0#buildlist bugzilla activity: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/buglist.cgi?classification=Fedora&email1=thrnciar%40redhat.com&emailcc1=1&emailreporter1=1&emailtype1=substring&list_id=12276392&product=Fedora&query_format=advanced wiki page: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/User:Thrnciar
Thank you for your consideration.
