Recently, an issue was filed for Package Maintainer Docs asking for some simple instructions regarding adding co-maintainers. I have discovered that it is better not avoid repeating FESCo policies in the Package Maintainer Docs, so I checked how FESCo Docs currently discuss co-maintenance. The main document is Policy for encouraging co-maintainers, which is seriously out of date. It should be updated to describe the current rules regarding co-maintenance.
Earlier, we have had good results in similar cases when I have edited the policies and FESCo has review and finally approved the end result, so we could try to use that approach also here: https://pagure.io/fesco/fesco-docs/pull-request/62
Thanks, let's continue the discussion on the PR. Once we've exhausted the discussion, we'll need to wrap things up with a vote, which we can do here. But let's refrain from giving +1's while the text is evolving.

The pull request has been open for review for a month now, and all issues raised have been addressed. Is this ready for FESCo vote now?

Thank you for working on this. The new text looks good to me. Not only is it more current and correct, but I think you have greatly improved it by making it much more concise.
