hi

i'm currently updating gmic/CImg from 3.1.0 to 3.1.6 in fedora 37 and dont know how to check if that breaks other packages.

would be great to have something at https://packages.fedoraproject.org/pkgs/gmic/gmic-libs/ or https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/gmic to check for dependants.

What is the correct way to resolve that?

IMHO perhaps this is a question for Fedora Release Engineering team rather than FESCO

for this kind of questions, please write to fedora-devel mailing list. Please describe the situation (e.g. does your package provide a C library, does the update change the SONAME, etc.)
We don't have the bandwith to answer packaging questions here.
