#2955 F38 incomplete Changes: testable deadline
Closed: Accepted by sgallagh. Opened by bcotton.

On Tuesday, 7 Februray we reached the Change Checkpoint: Completion deadline (testable). At this milestone all the F38 Changes should be testable, which is indicated by "MODIFIED" status of a tracking bug. A Bugzilla query shows all the tracking bugs which are not in "MODIFIED" state and are not considered testable. System-Wide Changes with the contingency date in bold are past the stated contingency date.

These changes are presented for FESCo review to determine what action, if any, should be taken. The next deadline is 21 Februray when all changes should be 100% code complete.

Since this is a bit time sensitive (the beta freeze has already started), I'm adding this to the agenda for today's meeting.

@bcotton what would be the process for sending unimplemented changes back into the "incomplete" state? and ... same question for the ones that were deferred :)

I'll (probably tomorrow) update the wiki pages and

  • for the Changes we're sending back to incomplete, close the tracking BZ and release notes issue with a note and a link to the meeting log
  • for the Changes deferred to F39, update the tracking BZ and release notes issue

Paperwork filed. New issue coming!

Tagged pending announcement in case the chair wants to include an announcement in next week's agenda, but I'm fine with closing this now.
