#3265 Restart building Phosh images
Closed: Accepted by ngompa. Opened by alho.

We (the Mobility SIG) decided early this year to stop building Phosh images, because of problems with the images, and no manpower left in the SIG to fix it.
Now we have got a few more new ppl into the SIG again, and would like to get Phosh builds restarted for rawhide (aarch64 and x86_64).

Does this require writing a new Change request, or can it just be restarted ?

My opinion is that even if our rules may not strictly require a new Change proposal, it would be good to have one in general. They help with planning, coordination and announcement talking points.

I'm inclined to agree with @sgallagh here. There have been CPs filed for less, in this case it actually would be beneficial in helping get more people involved in either helping, testing or just using.

This was discussed in yesterday's FESCo meeting, and we agreed that retired images need to be treated in the same manner as retired packages, and thus need to go through the same process for new images (that is, a new Change is required). Please submit one for Fedora Linux 42.
