Hello FESCo. I'm sure you appreciate all the recent tickets from your favorite Quality team, so why not have one more.

This is not a request this time, rather a notification about recent changes and an option to respond, if needed.

Related to our Quality scope reduction project, we recently implemented some "high profile" release criteria changes, which you might be interested in. We believe all of them are still quite in our QA jurisdiction, and we've made sure to receive approval by affected teams beforehand, but we don't want anyone to be surprised, so I've created this ticket just to be sure.

Higher profile changes:

• Optical media are no longer release-blocking
• BIOS systems' release-blocking status was considerably reduced to just the most common use cases, especially during installation

Lower profile changes (which we wouldn't normally bother you with, we do these changes all the time, but since they're related to the scope changes mentioned above, I'll list them as well):

• Dual boot on Intel-based Macbooks is no longer release-blocking
• Basic functionality requirements is now limited to just most important apps on Workstation x86_64, instead of all apps
