Hi FESCo members,

@jflory7 will be running the F43 election on my behalf, and in an effort to not let too much work pile up on people who are helping me while Im out, I wanted to get your acks and/or edits on the interview questions for this election early to make the changes before I finish up.

Below are the current interview questions. Please let me know if they are fine, or if there are changes to be made:

  • What is your name (Given/First and Family/Last Names please)?

  • What is your IRC Nick?

  • What Matrix/IRC Channels do you tend to use?

  • Why do you want to be a member of FESCo and how do you expect to help steer the direction of Fedora?

  • How do you currently contribute to Fedora? How does that contribution benefit the community?

  • How do you handle disagreements when working as part of a team?

  • What else should community members know about you or your positions?

What is your IRC Nick?

I suggest to change this to "Matrix ID". The "official" chat platform is now Matrix, even though the Fedora IRC channels on libera.chat still exist :)

Per the meeting we agreed the questions are generally OK, and some members have some small nits (Fabio already posted his)

So yeah, for me there's two

  • some people go by only one name. I'm not sure what's the best way to phrase this, maybe "The name you go by professionally, e.g. Given/First and Family/Last if you have them"?
  • For Q2 it could be either "What is your Matrix ID / IRC nick" or generalized even further - though maybe just those two
