#3605 F44 FESCo Election Questions (due: 21 May 2026)
Closed: Accepted by zbyszek. Opened by jflory7.

Hi FESCo members, below are the current interview questions for the Fedora Linux 44 election cycle. Let me know if they are fine or if any changes need to be made:

F44 FESCo Election Interview

  • What is your preferred name?
  • What is your FAS Username and Matrix ID?
  • What Matrix rooms do you tend to use?
  • Why do you want to be a member of FESCo and how do you expect to help steer the direction of Fedora?
  • How do you currently contribute to Fedora? How does that contribution benefit the community?
  • How do you handle disagreements when working as part of a team?
  • What else should community members know about you or your positions?

Can we add an AI question? :fire:

It's probably relevant. I don't know if we're going to like the answers though.

Can we add an AI question? :fire:

What would like to ask specifically?

I don't know if we're going to like the answers though.

Well, that's for the voters to decide :).

Maybe something like "Where do you think the Fedora Project should position itself concerning use of 'AI' in software development?"

I like @decathorpe's proposal.

Let's discuss this today.

Where do you think the Fedora Project should position itself concerning use of 'AI' in software development?

This was discussed during the FESCo meeting on Tuesday:
AGREED: We'll use the questions from last year with the addition of the AI question proposed by Fabio in the ticket (+5, 0, 0)
