= Qualifications =

• I currently own or co-own 14 packages in Fedora, mostly surrounding the Pylons stack (which showed my skills in dependency resolution and careful spec writing).
• I have been using RPM for nearly a decade with open source contributions going back to early versions of Mandrake (sacrilege, I know).
• I have held jobs in my professional life both in coding (many languages) and systems administration, so I have sufficiently broad knowledge that helps me produce stable patches and packages.
• I am an active OSS participant and have had patches accepted to multiple projects (both independently and pushing Fedora related fixes upstream).

= Rationale =

As my work on Fedora has progressed, particularly in Python-land, I've found that there are enough version/patch updates or dependencies that I could do that provenpackager would allow me to help Fedora even when my own packages don't rev very often. In particular, the demands of expanding the parallel python3 stack could use my additional set of hands.

(In the near term, access to co-maintain python-tempitia would help me resolve the last of the Pylons for python3 dependency problems).
