I've maintained RPM packages for about 4 years in a corporate setting and been a Fedora packager for a little over two years. I maintain a little more than a dozen packages and am co-maintainer another dozen. I taught RPM packaging at Fedora's 2010 Marketing FAD and the 2009 Usenix Large Installation System Administration conference. I've performed a little over 40 package reviews in Fedora.

= Rationale =

I am interested in ISVs (particularly now that I work for one) and have seen the frustration that occurs when a 'dedicated engineering resource' shows up and falls into the NEEDSSPONSOR queue sometimes lasting months. I'd like to increase the external ISV participation in Fedora.
Additionally I am interested in the Cloud SIG, and there are a number of people within that SIG who want to be packagers, and I'd like to help increase the packager contingent in that SIG to accelerate the progress of that SIG.
