I've been packaging for around 10 years for Red Hat / Fedora and an official fedora package since 2005. I've maintained/co-maintained a number of packages for Fedora, Fedora Legacy, and EPEL in that time. I've also taught RPM packaging to college students in a Linux system administration course at Oregon State University.

= Rationale =

Do you have anyone you immediately wish to sponsor? What other rationale do you have?

There is someone willing to co-maintain cfengine (one of my packages), and I would like to sponsor them immediately. If it goes well, then I hope to sponsor others in the future.
