Rex (rdieter), nirik and me have all told him about it and pointed him to the relevant packaging guideline but he chooses to ignore the advise.

I just talked to Dan and explained the git snapshot guidelines and pointed him to the parts of the packaging setup...

So, I think we could probibly close this unless/until there's further violations?

He just didn't know the right process for those.
