#1593 Inactive packager detected for user beldmit
Closed: Keep packager status by mattia. Opened by mattia.

Hello @beldmit,

during our periodic check as per the "Inactive packagers policy"
we detected no activity from you as a packager, nor in
other Fedora community places, like Bodhi or mailing lists.

In order to reduce security risks from possible accounts hijacking
we're trying to contact you to know if you're still reachable and
if your email set in Fedora Account System (bel****@gmail.com) is still valid.

Please, let us know if you're still intersted in participating
in Fedora and if you still need your account to be listed in the packager group.

Without any reply from you, in two months we will proceed to remove
your account from the packager group. Your account will still be active.

Dear Mattia,

I currently work at Red Hat and so use my working account
dbelyavs@redhat.com for the package maintenance.

Thank you for your letter!

Thanks, I'll tag this ticket so that this old account will be removed from packager group. This will not happen till late October.

The following is a list of packages that may become orphan if the user
is removed from the packager group. Affected co-maintainers users and groups are provided
as well:

  • openssl-gost-engine (affected users: @abbra)

@mattia as this account is the owner of the package, I kindly ask you to not remove it from the packager group.

What is the procedure to pass/share the ownership of the package?

You can login in src.fp.o with your old account, go to the package page, in the settings of the project you'll find the "give project" tab, there you can pass the ownsership to your new account.

Or I can avoid removing your old account from packagers, based on your first comment I supposed it was ok for you. Let me know what you prefer.

I think you could just leave my old account in packagers.

Sure, thanks!
