#563 [RFE] mbs-build resubmit
Closed: Fixed Opened by karsten.

There are packages like llvm that randomly fail to build in koji. A simple resubmit succeeeds most of the time. As there is no need to rebuild everything with a lower buildorder a 'resubmit' feature would nice.
Right now a 'mbs-build submit' just prints out the current status with the failure and then stops.
An empty commit of the yaml file followed by 'mbs-build submit' builds the whole module from scratch which can take ages (shared-userspace for example)

I'd like to +1 this. There are a number of packages in Fedora that have flaky tests. This would simplify the process of resuming them.

mbs-build submit should allow you to resubmit failed build. What is the "current status with failure"?

Update from IRC:
jkaluza> karsten_: that resubmit issue seems to be caused by MBS... it would normally work, but since we removed the targets, it stopped working it seems
fixing it

This has been fixed by the PR referenced above.
