This is to have some discusssion on the handling of F17 ibus configured xkb layouts when upgrading to F18 gnome and gnome-settings-daemon migration.

Do we need a 0-day update for gnome-settings-daemon to handle/remove ibus xkb layouts from gnome config since they can't be removed by gnome UI?

filed a bug to GNOME bz: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=691459

upstream bug has been fixed and updated package is pushed to testing now.

updates has been pushed into stable. so closing this ticket.
