#140 Get locale user stats using DNF Countme
Closed: Fixed by vishalvvr. Opened by vishalvvr.

It would be great if we can have locale user stats for fedora workstation.
This stats would help us plan our future efforts for i18n ecosystem like improve UX, prioritize locale order in search (gnome, anaconda) and much more.

This is just an thought let's discuss and check if this can really make any difference :)

It would also be useful for other Fedora teams:

  • Localization (Fedora L10n/Translation)
  • Marketing
  • Fonts
  • Desktop SIGs

We need to understand how countme currently works to assess the feasibility.

Currently referring to following resources to understand the working:

Maybe we can try opening an upstream ticket to discuss any options

sounds good option, i am closing this ticket will create an upstream ticket later.
