Someone asked me recently what Koji permissions are required to manage the package list for a tag (eg. koji add-pkg).

This person had reviewed https://docs.pagure.org/koji/permissions/ , but they could not find the information there.

Can we add this information to that document?

Hmm, just got to this. It is tricky, where to document it. Managing package lists are not permissions per se but it is handled by policies. There is a link in introduction on the page but evidently it doesn't stress significance of hub policies enough.

Any idea, how it could be improved?

One thing (not that related) would be to list how default policies like.

It is tricky, where to document it. Managing package lists are not permissions per se but it is handled by policies.

We may want to add a page about access controls in general, and link it here to clarify that permissions are not the only access control mechanism in Koji.
