I'd like to have an option to slightly steer noarch builds to my faster arches. For safety, having some noarch things build on my aarch64is good. But that box is about 25% the speed of my x86_64 hosts.
aarch64
x86_64
If there was a flag I could set on a tag to add a preferred noarch (just add duplicate arch to the array it picks from randomly) that would be great. It wouldn't eliminate the slower systems, but the random selection should pick my preferred arch more often.
Isn't capacity setting enouh for this? If your x86_64 box has capacity 8.0, and aarch64 2.0 it should still pick x86_64 4x more often (ignoring rest of load now).

I'm not seeing that behavior, but I'm on a fairly old koji in that build cluster.... If you think it is working that way on modern koji, I'd say this can be closed out.
It should work for many years. Anyway, it makes sense to add it to the idea set about new scheduler work. @mikem
