The new mock (1.4+) defaults to use_nspawn=True1, but systemd-nspawn forcefully mounts a tmpfs /tmp2 on every run. This means that when we run the sources command ("fedpkg sources" in Fedora), the tmpfs /tmp/scmroot/$packagename does not exist anymore.

Re-opening. This is not quite a duplicate, though it is very related.
Issue #531 happens even on mock < 1.4 if koji is told to use nspawn (e.g. with the runroot arg).
With 1.4+ the default has changed, which means that koji will use nspawn even if it is not configured to. We may want to force mock 1.4+ to use the old chroot in certain cases (perhaps even only of nspawn use is explicit for the task).
