Hi there, I had been using a TUI made using Newt (nmtui), and was thinking that for ergonomics, it would be nice to be able to keep one's hands in one place. I think we could help achieve this by adding support for h/j/k/l keybinds in addition to the arrow keys for navigating the menu options.
Having posted this request over at NetworkManager's repo, I was pointed here. I hope support for this might benefit other TUIs made using Newt as well.

I guess this shouldn't change the default keybinding to avoid unexpected behavior and it could not work in the entry box (which doesn't have a vim mode), so it would need to be an extension to the newt API to be used by the applications. I'm not sure if it's worth the trouble.
