It would be awesome if there was a status for issues of "Duplicate", that also allowed the user to specify an issue number that the bug is a dupe of, and show that in the metadata box.

Currently, the only default status that really applies to this is "Invalid", which is alittle harsh for a duplicate bug IMHO :D

Shouldn't a tag be enough for this? I mean, if it's duplicate, you want to close the issue itself.

I think it should be easy enough to add a new status, it's a simple change to the procedure to create the DB, a 1 line fix :)

Does this allow an extra piece of data (teh duplicate of #)?
