I push a new branch(footer) to my forked repo but i am not able to see the option to create a new pull request.

Check the outcome of the API call that check which branch are ready to be merged, be aware that this API might take a while seeing how many branches you have.

@pingou i deleted some of the branches so that may be it would take less time but it is still not showing the option for new pull request

Why was it closed as invalid? Does it work now?

@pingou nope, it doesn't work the way it used to

@farhaan helped me out and I was able to create a pr by:
a) clicking on the branch
b) go to commits
c) there I see a option saying your branch is ahead by 1 commit and create a pr.

But previously, I would directly get an option for creating a new pr beside my branch name.

So this bug isn't fixed, nor invalid and thus should remain open :)

@pingou : I'm seeing the same issue with hubs and my fork. The drop-down menu only shows "Remote pull request", not my branches.

Ok, checking the API call made, I think it is fixed by https://pagure.io/pagure/pull-request/1898

Could you test again? I just hotfixed #1898 in prod

Commit 507d9881 fixes this issue
